Youth Mental Health Task Force
About The Program
Carroll County Mental Health Advocates and the Child Advocacy Center hosted a Stakeholder Meeting in January 2021 to engage in conversation about the importance of mental wellness among youth in Carroll County.
The group identified three priority areas: Peer Support, Resources, and Education/Awareness. Participants were asked to participate on the committee of their choice and the committees report progress at the Family Connection strategy meetings (first Thursday of every month at 11:30am via zoom.)
Our goal is to increase community awareness of resources, offer support and ensure emotional well-being for families and youth in our community.
